Come help us celebrate our 2016 grads!
Our grads have been working hard to get to this point in their life. Let's show them how proud we are by gathering together on Graduate Sunday.
We will take a moment during our sermon to acknowledge our grads and also hear from each of them to find out what's in store for them in their next chapter.
Congratulations Class of 2016!
It's Partnership Celebration Sunday!
Partnership Celebration Sunday is our annual opportunity for all of us who consider Hope to be our home church to celebrate that commitment together. Being a Partner at Hope isn’t about what you get, but what you get to do. You get to be the church side by side with great people of faith, and this Sunday is our chance to recognize that and honor it once again.
Please join us as we share in this again on May 22nd!
Our Annual "Souper" Bowl fundraiser on Super Bowl Sunday is coming up!
The Lake Stevens Community Supper Program serves free dinners every Thursday at Ebenezer Lutheran Church in Lake Stevens. At the beginning of service we have everyone who brought coins (or cash!) dump it into a large soup kettle. We then donate all that we collect to help fund meals at the LSCSP.
START COLLECTING YOUR COINS NOW AND BRING THEM ON "SOUPER" BOWL SUNDAY!
SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 7TH, 2016
Come join us for our first ever Hope original Christmas Play
Messiah - It's About Time!
A humorous take on what would happen if Hollywood reality television tried to help along the birth of Jesus.
Invite your friends and family for this entertaining event put on by Hope's Youth Group Members!
The day we've all been waiting for! Okay, maybe it's just the day that Pastor Bill has been waiting for.
Hope rented out an entire theater just for us so we can all watch Star Wars Episode IV together -- no lines, no ticket hassles, no problem!
Let's all let out a collective
That was Wookie for "this is going to be epic!"
You'll want to get there early because we'll play some games ahead of time, do some trivia, and then all watch together. More details coming on pricing, how to get your ticket, etc.
Best. Church. Ever.
It's our annual 'It's not a pumpkin pie morning' coming up at Hope!
We love Pumpkin pie, of course, but following Thanksgiving it's fun to dive into something different. So please bring a pie, or cobbler, or favorite dessert to share.
All desserts are welcome and will certainly be devoured :)
6th-12th grade you're going to the Corn Maze!
This Sunday, meet at the Church/LSMS parking lot at 5:30. Cost is $12. Check the youth email for more details, or to volunteer to drive (we really need drivers!).
See Kendyll if you can drive!
Summer is coming to an end so we thought we'd have an End of Summer BBQ to mark the occasion.
Plus it's just a great excuse to get together!
Join us right after church across the street at the Jacks' house. You can leave your car parked at the church!
Hope Leadership Team is providing meat and drinks. Please feel free to bring a side dish or dessert, but it's not required. We just really want you to bring YOU!
Hope to see you there!
Over the last several summers we have had the very fun opportunity to share Sports Camp with our community. It's been such a joy, and it's time again to look ahead to that opportunity this Summer.
Sports Camp meets several needs in Lake Stevens and the surrounding communities. It's an opportunity to help kids see that no matter what we do, we're able to do it for the glory of God. This is a Jesus focused week, and we know that makes a difference.
It's also a chance to give kids a fun, sports-based outlet for their energy during the summer. There are lots of Sports camps out there, but most are pretty expensive, and sports specific. We give kids a chance to try all kinds of different sports in a safe, fun environment. It's a great time.
